Mount Kembla in monochrome

They were repairing one of the piers that goes out into Lake Illawarra and this was part of the fencing they used to block it off. No meaning, just caught my eye

A Plus

Took this as the clouds built up for a summer storm around home. 

A little bit foreboding

The old grain terminal at Port Kembla, long since abandoned for the new facility*

No actually it's not, it's the Basalt Loader at Bass Point and it's not abandoned.

The waves were crashing at Shellharbour beach when I took this shot. Need to go back again and take some long exposure shots

This is a monument at the Port Kembla Memorial Park celebrating the men and women who took part in the protests against the loading of the British Tramp Steamer SS Dalfram with iron bound for Japan
