Just a quick update

I'm going to try and force myself to at least update this blog once a week and seeing as the last entry was a week ago it's that time again!

So I'm still working on adding bits and pieces to the site. My current focus is on setting up photo galleries so that I can properly integrate my photography hobby with the site. I'm still getting used to NextJs, React and Strapi so it's all very much a learning experience for me. I'm pretty sure I'm going to look back on this code (if I don't trash it at some point and just build something cleaner) and cringe.

Speaking of photography, I'm currently suffering from a severe bout of Photographers Block. There's a couple of projects that I really want to get started on but it's a bit hard getting passed the old mental blockage. One of the things I want to explore more of is portrait photography, not just your standard head and shoulders but capturing the person in the image properly if you know what I mean.

On the Tech and Disability front I'm looking for story ideas. I'm also still looking at whether I should do a series about accidentally accessible items and how they can help people with disabilities even though they were designed for the general market.

On all other fronts, things continue to trundle a long. I did lose my glorious 27 inch Dell 2560x1440 monitor the other day when it let out a loud pop and the magic smoke escaped, so that's something on my need to replace list.

Anyway that's it for the moment, fingers crossed I can turn this into a real habit, so that posting becomes muscle memory.
